About us

A step in the right direction

Vibranalysis was founded in May of 1986 by President Linda Socquet.

As our logo suggests, Vibranalysis' primary function is analyzing vibrations and providing recorded evidence against litigation and damage claims. Working as a subcontractor, Vibranalysis monitors vibrations for general contractors, construction and construction management companies, engineering firms, building owners, developers, quarry/mine owners, excavating and pile-driving companies and blasters. We provide documentation and authoritative back-up from professionals and experts.

In addition to monitoring ground vibrations and air blast, Vibranalysis offers related services that ensure proper protection of structures on or adjacent to construction sites. Our team of professionals is experienced in conducting acoustic studies, operating the latest in geotechnical equipment including extensometers, inclinometers, tilt plates and strain gages, monitoring settlement and displacement and inspecting structures for damage.

Inspections have become a specialty for Vibranalysis over the last two years. Often asked to document existing conditions before work begins, we provide comprehensive reports accompanied by photographs or videotape. Our projects have included not only commercial and residential buildings, but also several underground subway tunnels and stations.

In addition to providing the aforementioned technical services, Vibranalysis works to diminish public anxiety, fear and resistance towards blasting and construction perceived to be dangerous and threatening.
